The
Korean Magic Society Inc..¡¯ embarked on the year
of 1982.
Although the initial number was small, magicians
through out the nation had gathered for a TV program
by the Korea Broadcasting Station.
(KBS) On that very day, these magicians gathered
as one, as a voluntary association. That¡¯s how
¡®The Korean Magic Society¡¯ was first born. After
the tireless effort, on 30th.
May. 2003, the Korean Magic Society has successfully
registered as a member of the Department of Performing
Arts, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
That was the fruit from 12 years of effort. Two
years later in 2005, the Korean Magic Society
successfully organized 18 affiliates through out
the country, signifying the true unity centered
around the Korean Magic Society. This can be called
as a historic event for the magic society in Korea.
The Korean
Magic Society Inc will strive to boost magician¡¯s
standing and to expand the acceptability of magic
within the society. In such light, we will put
all our effort to guarantee social standing of
professional magicians as well as to give them
the pride they deserve.
The Korean
Magic Society will
also give its support to those who experience
magic for the first time to help them take magic
as something easy and comfortable with. All of
such works will never take place without your
support and encouragement.
